Abstract

Los aspectos de la invención están asociados con el descubrimiento de procesos para convertir metano (CH4), presente en una materia prima que contiene metano, que puede obtenerse de una variedad de fuentes tales como gas natural, a hidrocarburos superiores (por ejemplo, hidrocarburos C4+) tales como hidrocarburos de rango de ebullición de la gasolina, el diesel o el combustible de aviación, que opcionalmente pueden separarse (por ejemplo, por fraccionamiento) para su uso como combustibles de transporte, o de otro modo como componentes de mezcla para tales combustibles.
