Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método de purificación de las aguas que contienen microcontaminantes orgánicos por adsorción en carbón activado granular en un reactor de tratamiento (1) en flujo ascendente y un lecho expandido, para reducir un porcentaje de microcontaminantes previamente fijado, para determinar específicamente la masa o el volumen de carbón activado granular óptimo (necesario y suficiente) en el reactor para obtener dicho porcentaje de eliminación de los microcontaminantes orgánicos previamente fijado.
