Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a composiciones que contienen: A) al menos un polímero seleccionado del grupo de policarbonatos aromáticos y poliéstercarbonatos aromáticos. B) al menos un compuesto ácido de Brønsted seleccionado del grupo que consiste en compuestos de las fórmulas generales (I) y (II): (R1)y1-N-[R2-COOH]x1 (I) [HOOC-R2]x2 (R1)y2N-(R3)-N(R1)y3[R2COOH]x 3 (II) Dónde: R1 Representa alquilo, arilo o cicloalquilo, opcionalmente funcionalizados o sustituidos con heteroátomos. R2 Representa alquileno C1 a C8 o alquilideno C2 a C8. R3 Representa -(CH2)n-, -(CH2)n[O(CH2)n]m- ó -(CH2)n[NR4 (CH2)n]m- n Es un número entero. m Es un número entero. R4 Representa alquilo, arilo o cicloalquilo opcionalmente funcionalizados o sustituidos con heteroátomos, preferiblemente cicloalquilo. x1 Es un número entero entre 1 y 3. x2 y x3 Son respectivamente 1 o 2. Y1 Se obtiene de la fórmula y1=3-x1. y2 Se obtiene de la fórmula y2=2-x2. y3 Se obtiene de la fórmula y3=2-x3. Donde, en compuestos que tienen una pluralidad de radicales R1 y R2, estos pueden, independientemente uno de otro, representar radicales diferentes o idénticos que tengan las definiciones mencionadas anteriormente. Esta invención también se refiere a un proceso para producir composiciones que emplean componentes A, B y, opcionalmente, componentes adicionales, donde al menos uno de ellos es alcalino o contiene elementos alcalinos. Por último, se hace referencia a composiciones obtenidas mediante dicho proceso y al uso de las composiciones para producir objetos moldeados, así como a los propios objetos moldeados.
