Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un proceso para la extracción de sílice a partir de materia vegetal lignocelulósica, el cual comprende los pasos de: a) fraccionamiento de la materia vegetal lignocelulósica en presencia de una solución de ácido, de manera que se obtiene una fracción sólida que comprende celulosa, b) extracción de sílice a partir de la fracción sólida obtenida en el paso a) con una solución básica, a un pH entre 10 y 13 y a una temperatura entre 70°C y 90°C, de manera que se obtiene una fase líquida que comprende la sílice y una fase sólida, c) separación de la fase líquida y de la fase sólida obtenidas en el paso b), d) precipitación de la sílice que se encuentra en la fase líquida, a un pH entre 5 y 6.
