Abstract
La invención se refiere al campo de la metalurgia, y específicamente a un método para producir acero en un horno de arco eléctrico. Un método conocido para fabricar acero en un horno de arco eléctrico incluye, por lo menos, una carga en el espacio de trabajo de un horno, una carga de metal sólido y, al menos, materiales que contienen carbono sólido, fundir la carga utilizando arcos eléctricos, carbocementación el metal utilizando los materiales que contienen carbono sólido durante la fusión, y sacar el metal y la escoria del horno. Se propone llevar a cabo el proceso de fusión con la adición, al espacio de trabajo del horno, de un producto cementador de alto contenido de carbono en forma de una fase líquida de hierro recuperada de la zona de combustión de arco para la cementación carburante adicional del metal, en donde el producto cementador de alto contenido de carbono se obtiene a partir de óxidos de hierro y material carbonoso. Los óxidos de hierro y el material carbonoso se introducen en la zona de combustión del arco, cuyas dimensiones están limitadas por D=(dp+3.5 del), donde dp - diámetro del círculo de paso del electrodo y del - diámetro de un electrodo. El contenido total de carbono, en forma libre y disuelta en la fase líquida de hierro, no excede el 30%. La cantidad total de producto cementador usado en la fusión no excede el 20% de la masa de la carga metálica. El producto cementador se alimenta continuamente o periódicamente al interior del espacio de trabajo del horno durante el proceso de fusión de carga. La alimentación del producto cementador comienza cuando comienza la fusión de la carga. El uso de la invención da como resultado una mayor salida de metal líquido por medio de regular el contenido de carbono en el curso de la fusión, incrementar el nivel de cementación carburante del metal desde el comienzo de la fusión, y reducir la pérdida de hierro a escoria y humo.
