Abstract
Se describe un proceso para la síntesis de amoníaco que comprende las etapas de reformación de una carga de alimentación de hidrocarburo en un gas de producto bruto, purificación de dicho gas de producto bruto obteniendo un gas de síntesis auxiliar, conversión de dicho gas de síntesis en amoníaco; dicha purificación incluye la conversión por desplazamiento de monóxido de carbono en dióxido de carbono y el proceso de reformación requiere una entrada de calor que es por lo menos parcialmente recuperada de por lo menos una de dicha etapa de conversión por desplazamiento, la cual es llevada a cabo con una temperatura máxima de por lo menos 450 °C, y dicha etapa de conversión en amoníaco.
