Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un material activo adecuado para la producción de un electrodo, en particular un electrodo para una batería Li-S. El material activo de conformidad con la invención, comprende nanorellenadores de carbón homogéneamente dispersados en la sustancia de un material de azufre, el material activo es obtenible de conformidad con un método que involucra fusión en la presencia de energía mecánica intensa. La cantidad de nanorellenadores de carbón en el material activo representa 1 a 25% en peso con respecto al peso total del material activo. El material activo de conformidad con la invención, permite un mejoramiento en la conductividad electrónica de la formulación del electrodo. Otro aspecto de la invención es el uso del material activo en un electrodo, en particular en un cátodo de batería de Li-S.
