Abstract
La invención se refiere a un sistema de iluminación automático para el cruce peatonal y a un método para hacer las marcas de los cruces peatonales. El sistema comprende varias unidades hundidas en el asfalto compuestas por una caja (2) soldada a una red (11) fijada en la parte inferior del orificio hecho para el montaje de las unidades de iluminación, la caja (2) que tiene un bastidor externo (5) y que se cierra con una tapa desmontable (4) equipada con una ventana a la cual se fija un bastidor de protección (6) de una pieza de fabricada de vidrio de seguridad (8), que representa la marca transversal del cruce peatonal, en el interior de la caja (2) que es una unidad de iluminación LED (1) encendida por una red o una planta fotovoltaica (14) montada sobre una pila (17) en la cerca del cruce peatonal, sobre la superficie de la tapa (4) a la que se vierte betún asfáltico y posteriormente se pinta con pintura reflectante, de manera que el vidrio (8) en el estado montado del sistema, esté al nivel de la autopista (10).
