Abstract
La presente descripcion involucra una manera novedosa de utilizar las vibraciones de la perforacion generadas por la deformacion de una formacion rocosa en respuesta a las fuerzas que actuan en la formacion rocosa, en donde las fuerzas se relacionan con una broca y/o con un sistema del fluido de perforacion, para identificar la naturaleza y aparicion de fracturas, grupos de fracturas y otras discontinuidades mecanicas (limites), tales como planos de estratificacion y/o fallas que desplazan o separan de otra manera las formaciones rocosas con diferentes propiedades mecanicas de la roca.
