Abstract
Se propone un dispositivo para protección contra rayos (30) para formar al menos una porción de una superficie externa de una estructura que se va a proteger y comprende un plano de tierra (32), un sustrato dieléctrico (34) arreglado sobre el plano de tierra, y un arreglo de primeros elementos de metal (36) arreglados sobre el sustrato dieléctrico (34) y que se extienden sustancialmente paralelos al plano de tierra (32) de tal forma que cualquier par de elementos consecutivos de los primeros elementos de metal (36) se separa por una distancia comprendida entre 0.1 milímetros y 10 milímetros, los primeros elementos de metal que se distribuyen en patrones similares yuxtapuestos, cada uno de los patrones que incluye primeros elementos de metal de diferentes dimensiones que corresponden respectivamente a diferentes frecuencias resonantes electromagnéticas la yuxtaposición de los cuales define una banda de absorción electromagnética del patrón.
