Abstract
La invención se relaciona con la detección de un movimiento y/o una posición de un objeto (1) que va a ser vigilado. Por lo menos un marcador (2) que irradia luz se coloca en un área del objeto (1) de manera que una cámara (4) puede capturar imágenes del marcador (2) cuando el objeto (1) está en una primera posición. Una unidad de procesamiento de imágenes (6) está habilitada para detectar al marcador (2) en las imágenes y para detectar un movimiento y/o una segunda posición del objeto (1) en respuesta a la determinación de que por lo menos una parte del marcador (2) no se puede detectar en una o más de las imágenes. El objeto (1) puede ser particularmente una persona tendida en una cama y el marcador (2) se puede colocar adyacente al área de tendido de la cama (3) de manera que el sistema puede detectar que la persona abandona la cama y notificar al personal de enfermería o a una central de emergencia.
