Abstract
Se propone una bomba para impeler un fluido altamente viscoso, la cual comprende una carcasa (2) con al menos una primera entrada (3) y con una salida (4) para el fluido, un impulsor (5) para impeler el fluido de la entrada (3) a la salida (4), en donde el impulsor (5) se dispone sobre un vástago rotatorio (6) para la rotación alrededor de una dirección axial (A), y comprende un aro frontal (7) orientado hacia la primera entrada (3) de la bomba, en donde la carcasa (2) está provista con una abertura del impulsor estacionaria (8) para recibir el aro frontal (7) del impulsor (5) y tiene un diámetro (D), en donde el aro frontal (7) y la abertura del impulsor estacionaria (8) forman un intersticio (9) que tiene una longitud (L) en la dirección axial (A), siendo que la relación de la longitud (L) del intersticio (9) y el diámetro (D) de la abertura del impulsor (8) es como máximo 0.092.
