Abstract
Se da seguimiento a los recursos que un proceso en primer plano asociado con una aplicación ha usado, así como una o más tareas en segundo plano relacionadas con la aplicación que se ejecutan como procesos separados en el dispositivo de proceso de datos. Los datos históricos que se relacionan con la utilización de recursos de la aplicación se usan para predecir una cantidad de utilización de recursos para la aplicación, que entonces se almacena. Una posterior activación de la aplicación puede condicionarse a si la cantidad prevista de utilización de recursos está disponible. Si la cantidad prevista de utilización de recursos está disponible, se puede asignar a la aplicación y la aplicación puede activarse. Si la aplicación excede la cantidad prevista de utilización de recursos, otros procesos que se ejecutan simultáneamente con la misma pueden terminarse para liberar el recurso. Independientemente de cómo funciona la aplicación, se obtienen nuevos datos de utilización de recursos para la aplicación, que entonces se usan para ajustar la cantidad prevista de utilización de recursos.
