Abstract

The present disclosure is related to the industrial area concerning specifically the wastewater treatment for a subsequent reuse. More specifically, related to an equipment and process to recover wastewaters that have been used for the equipment sanitization by means of hydrogen peroxide. One aspect of the invention is the process by which hydrogen peroxide is eliminated; the other aspect has to do with the equipment by which this process is applied. This process consists of the following steps: A) Circulate the water to be treated to keep the same in contact with metallic iron, B) Filtering the treated water with the metallic iron, with a twenty-five microns pore size filter; C) filtering the water resulting from step (B) with a filter having a pore size equal to one micron; D) passing the water resulting from the filtering from step (C) through an activated carbon bed; E) Filtering the resulting from step (C) with a twenty-five microns pore size filter; F) apply an ultraviolet radia tion treatment.
