Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un polvo biocompuesto natural preparado a partir de la biomasa de la levadura Pichia pastoris, que comprende complejo de quitina-glucano (CGC) y polisacáridos con contenido de manosa. En un segundo aspecto, la invención se refiere al método de preparación del polvo biocompuesto natural. La invención también se refiere al método para obtener biomasa de Pichia pastoris con mayor contenido de CGC, así como mayor contenido de quitina a glucano en el CGC. Finalmente, la invención se refiere al uso del polvo biocompuesto natural, preparado a partir de la pared celular de la levadura Pichia pastoris por el método de acuerdo con la invención, como excipiente en las industrias farmacéutica, cosmética o alimentaria.
