Abstract
Se divulga un método para valorar el riesgo asociado con la perforación de una sección de un pozo de sondeo en una formación utilizando un sistema de perforación, que comprende: proporcionar un modelo de probabilidad para el riesgo de que el sistema de perforación dispare un modo de falla durante la perforación; y valorar el riesgo de que el sistema de perforación dispare uno de dichos modos de falla durante la perforación de la sección con base en dicho modelo; un método adicional de este tipo comprende: definir los parámetros de control críticos para el sistema de perforación; e identificar uno o más modos de falla del sistema de perforación asociados con cada parámetro de control crítico que puede surgir durante la perforación de la sección de la formación.
