Abstract
Se da a conocer un método para limpiar aceite degradado que comprende productos de degradación solubles en aceite y un sistema para implementar el método. El método comprende los pasos que consisten en recibir un flujo de entrada (1, 1a, 1b) de aceite degradado, precipitar los productos de degradación solubles en aceite del aceite degradado al enfriar el aceite degradado, pasar el aceite degradado, enfriado como un flujo de filtración (3, 3a, 3b) a través de un filtro (104, 204, 304) con el fin de retener los productos de degradación precipitados en el filtro y descargar un flujo de salida (2, 2a, 2b) de aceite limpiado.
