Abstract

La invención se relaciona a un proceso para tratar aguas residuales conteniendo materia orgánica dentro de un reactor acomodando gránulos de biomasa y proporcionado con medios de aireación. De acuerdo con la invención, dicho proceso incluye una pluralidad de ciclos consecutivos, cada uno de los cuales incluye: una etapa anaeróbica de alimentación de aguas residuales dentro de dicho reactor, durante la cual dicha agua se mezcla con dichos gránulos de manera que formen un lecho fluidizado, una etapa anaeróbica de agitación de los contenidos de dicho reactor, una etapa de aireación de los contenidos de dicho reactor, una etapa de sedimentación y una etapa de descarga del agua tratada libre de materia orgánica.
