Abstract
La invención proporciona secuencias de ácido nucleico sintéticas que codifican proteínas de interés que son particularmente adaptadas para expresarse bien en plantas. Las secuencias sintéticas reivindicadas utilizan codones optimizados para plantas básicamente en la misma frecuencia a la cual se utilizan, en promedio, en genes de presentación natural en la especie de planta. La invención incluye además secuencia de ADN sintético para tolerancia a herbicidas, tolerancia al estrés por falta de agua y/o debido al calor, modificaciones de aceites sanos y para la transformación se utilizan genes marcadores y genes marcadores seleccionables. Se describen la construcción de ADN y plantas transgénicas que contienen las secuencias sintéticas así como también los métodos y composiciones para el uso de las plantas en agricultura.
