Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un método para fabricar polietileno o un copolímero de etileno, que incluye un paso de polimerización por radicales libres o copolimerización del etileno a una temperatura de inicio que varía de 150°C hasta 200°C, a una presión que varía de 500 hasta 3000 bar, en presencia de un iniciador de polimerización con peróxido seleccionado de entre los compuestos de peróxido de la fórmula (I) en la cual R1 y R8 son, por separado, un grupo C2-C6 alquilo; R2, R3, R6 y R7 son, por separado, un grupo C1-C5 alquilo; y R4 y R5 son, por separado, un grupo C1-C6 alquilo.
