Abstract
La presente invención proporciona métodos, sistemas y aparatos para efectuar la excitación o inhibición de fibras nerviosas sensoriales pequeñas, tales como las fibras aferentes tipo C, mediante la estimulación eléctrica de los nervios que inervan el páncreas en sujetos diabéticos.
