Abstract
Composiciones basadas en petrolato (es decir, composición en la cual el emoliente petrolato comprende más de o igual a 50% de la composición) son deseables debido a las excelentes propiedades de humectación provistas por el petrolato. Sin embargo, tiene negativos sensoriales percibidos por los consumidores. De manera específica, debido a la sensación oleosa/grasosa y "pegajosa" (es decir, ligeramente adhesiva o gomosa al tacto), el petrolato tiene ciertos límites para el alcance de la solicitud. Hemos encontrado una manera de superar este problema usando un copolímero, el cual adicionalmente evita el uso indeseable de aceite adicional. Por lo tanto, se proporciona una composición comprendiendo: i) 50% hasta 99.95% en peso de petrolato; ii) mayor que 0.05% en peso de un copolímero que porta más de 70% de alquilo de cadena larga, teniendo dicha composición una entalpía de entre 30 y 65, de preferencia 40 y 60, aún más preferiblemente 45 y 55 J/g, siendo el tamaño de cristal promedio de número de petrolato menor que 10 pm, de preferencia menor que 5 µm, más preferiblemente menor que 1 µm.
