Abstract

La invención se refiere a un implante para cuerpo humano o animal, que en su superficie externa comprende al menos una sal de calcio soluble en líquido polar, y a diversos métodos para la preparación del implante anterior. Los iones de calcio contenidos en la superficie del implante dotan a dicha superficie de cuatro propiedades química o biológicamente muy deseables: hidrofilicidad, protección frente a la contaminación atmosférica, propiedad procoagulante y propiedad promineralizante.
