Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un cátodo que se puede utilizar en la celda de una batería de iones de litio con un electrólito basado sobre una sal de litio y un solvente no acuoso; a un proceso para la fabricación de este cátodo y una batería de iones de litio en la cual las celdas incorporan este cátodo. Este cátodo se basa sobre una composición polimérica que se obtiene por medio de la fusión, y sin evaporación, de un solvente que es producto de una reacción de mezclado en caliente de una materia activa y de aditivos que comprenden un aglutinante polimérico y una carga conductora de electricidad. De acuerdo con la presente invención, este aglutinante se basa sobre, de por lo menos un, elastómero reticulado y esos aditivos comprenden, además, por lo menos un, compuesto orgánico no volátil que se puede utilizar en el solvente de electrólito. Ventajosamente, la composición comprende la mencionada materia activa de acuerdo con una fracción de masa igual a, o mayor que, 90%.
