Abstract

Un método para el análisis de especímenes biológicos por medio de imagen espectral para proporcionar un diagnóstico médico que incluye la obtención de imágenes visuales y espectrales de especímenes biológicos y registrar las imágenes para detectar anomalías celulares, células pre-cancerosas y células cancerosas. Este método elimina el sesgo y la falta de fiabilidad de diagnóstico que está inherente en histopatológicos estándar y otros métodos espectrales. Además, un método para corregir la confusión de contribuciones espectrales que se observan con frecuencia en los espectros infrarrojos adquiridos microscópicamente de células y tejidos que incluyen la realización de una corrección de fase en los datos espectrales. Este método de corrección de fase puede ser utilizado para corregir varios tipos de espectros de absorción que están contaminados por componentes reflectantes.
