Abstract

Un dispositivo para la remoción de petróleo derramado, sustancias aceitosas u otros líquidos de una superficie tiene un cuerpo principal (2) con un par de agarraderas (3) hacia su extremo superior y una cabeza de limpieza (4) en el extremo inferior. La cabeza de limpieza es colocada con los cepillos giratorios (5) y también contiene un motor y un engranaje de impulsión. En el extremo superior del cuerpo principal (2) un tubo flexible (6) es conectado con un pasaje hueco formado y que se extiende a través del cuerpo principal (2) por medio del tubo flexible corto (6') hacia la cabeza de limpieza (4). En la dirección opuesta, el tubo flexible (6) se extiende hacia las fuentes remotas de presión de aire, vacío y material sorbente. El dispositivo (1) tiene tres modos principales de operación que son utilizados en secuencia para limpiar el petróleo derramado, etc. Este es utilizado para suministrar el material absorbente (por ejemplo, la corteza desmenuzada) hacia el suelo contaminado; entonces, el material absorbente es frotado en la superficie del suelo; y finalmente, es removido el material absorbente junto con el líquido.
