Abstract
Se describe un compuesto útil como un ingrediente activo para las medicinas que tienen actividad de inhibición de PDE4B, particularmente, las composiciones medicinales terapéuticas o preventivas para tratar la esquizofrenia, enfermedad de Alzheimer, demencia, depresión y similares. Específicamente, los actuales inventores examinaron los compuestos que tienen la actividad de inhibición de PDE4B y encontraron que un derivado tricíclico o tetracíclico de imidazo [1 ,2-ajpiridina o sales del mismo tuvo actividad de inhibición superior de PDE4B. Este derivado de imidazo [1 ,2-a] piridina se puede utilizar en los agentes terapéuticos y preventivos para tratar la esquizofrenia, enfermedad de Alzheimer, demencia, depresión, y similares.
