Abstract

Un proceso que permite la extracción de contaminantes de un aceite inestable tal como el producido por craqueo térmico o catalítico, donde, en al menos un paso del proceso, se realiza la mezcla del aceite inestable con un disolvente puro o impuro con un momento dipolar mayor de 2. El diésel estabilizado obtenido de esta forma presenta propiedades interesantes entre las cuales se destaca una estabilidad significativa y son útiles en numerosas aplicaciones; algunos de estos diésels estabilizados de amplio rango son nuevos, al igual que sus usos.
