Abstract

Se describen las estructuras de amortiguamiento compuestos con propiedades de amortiguamiento espacialmente variables y materiales y métodos relacionados para producir los mismos. En una modalidad, se proporciona la espuma de propiedad de gradiente (GPF) y está comprendida de una estructura de amortiguamiento compuesto de dos o más fases comprendida de una disposición espacialmente variable de uno o más segundo componente variable de fase no sólida en un primer componente de amortiguamiento de fase celular sólido al controlar las propiedades de amortiguamiento local de la estructura de amortiguamiento compuesto final. Los segundos componentes de amortiguamiento pueden seleccionarse para mostrar otras propiedades de amortiguamiento cuando se encuentran en forma sólida a partir de las propiedades de amortiguamiento del primer componente de amortiguamiento celular en esta modalidad.
