Abstract
Una metodología que mejora la modelación de una región geológica, tal como una cuenca de explotación de hidrocarburos. La metodología comprende el procesamiento de datos para crear un modelo del terreno heterogéneo basado en una variedad de datos sobre las propiedades de los materiales a través de la región geológica. El modelo del terreno heterogéneo se emplea en combinación con un modelo estratigráfico de manera que crea un modelo geológico estratigráfico de alta resolución.
