Abstract

En un aspecto, la presente invención se dirige a una ampolleta par el almacenamiento y dispersión de un líquido volátil comprendido por (a) una coraza exterior compuesta por un material impermeable y que define al menos una abertura; (b) un miembro poroso de difusión que define un depósito interno posicionado dentro de dicha coraza exterior; (c) un líquido volátil contenido dentro de tal depósito interno; y (d) un miembro de película adherido a dicha coraza y que cubre dicha al menos una abertura; en donde dicho miembro de película está dispuesto de manera que un espacio de aire está presente entre dicho miembro poroso de difusión y dicho miembro de película; y en donde dicho miembro poroso de difusión es configurado de manera que las moléculas del líquido volátil pueden solo entrar en dicho espacio de aire vía difusión a través de dicho miembro poroso de difusión. Tales ampolletas son particularmente adecuadas para el almacenamiento y dispersión de químicos orgánicos útiles como atrayentes de chinches, especialmente donde tales atrayentes son formulados en un líquido altamente volátil, tal como un alcano de C8-C12. En otro aspecto, esta invención se dirige a un dispositivo adaptado para recibir una o más de tales ampolletas. En una modalidad preferida, tal dispositivo es un dispositivo de captura de chinches.
