Abstract

La presente invención describe una composición farmacéutica que comprende polímeros vinculantes a fosfato tales como carbonato de sevelamer sustancialmente libre de anión monovalente diferente del anión bicarbonato; particularmente, el contenido de anión monovalente es menor de aproximadamente 0.05% (p/p); se describen composiciones que comprenden carbonato de sevelamer granulado libres de iones metálicos añadidos y/o de una fuente de anión monovalente añadida.
