Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso alternativo para la preparación de derivados de amino. En particular, la presente solicitud se refiere a un proceso mejorado para la manufactura de Lacosamida (LCM), (R) -2- acetamido-N-bencil-3-metoxipropion-amida , que es útil como un fármaco anticonvulsivo. En un aspecto particular, la presente invención se refiere a un proceso de manufactura de la (R) -2-acetamido-N-bencil-3-metoxipropion-amida (I) enriquecida ópticamente que comprende la resolución de la 2- acetamido-N-bencil-3-metoxipropion-amida (II).
