Abstract
Método y aparato para un generador electrolítico in situ de alta confiabilidad y mantenimiento reducido que incorpora monitoreo automático de celdas para la acumulación de película de contaminantes, así como también remoción o limpieza automática de la película de contaminantes. De preferencia, este método y aparato no requiere intervención humana para su limpieza. Para celdas de alta densidad de corriente, la limpieza se realiza de preferencia al invertir la polaridad de los electrodos y aplicar una baja densidad de corriente a los electrodos. Puede utilizarse un segundo suministro de energía de densidad de corriente más baja para la limpieza de polaridad inversa. De preferencia, se monitorea el flujo de electrolitos y se ajusta de manera automática.
