Abstract

Detección de líquido en un medidor de flujo acústico. Por lo menos algunas de las modalidades ilustrativas son métodos que comprenden hacer fluir una sustancia gaseosa a través de un pasaje central de un cuerpo de medidor, enviar las señales acústicas a lo largo de trayectorias cordales respectivas a través del pasaje central (ninguna de las trayectorias cordales interseca una porción inferior del pasaje central en donde se acumula líquido, si está presente durante el flujo de la sustancia gaseosa), calcular una velocidad de flujo de la sustancia gaseosa cerca de cada trayectoria cordal con base en los tiempos de tránsito de las señales acústicas a lo largo de trayectorias cordales respectivas, y determinar la presencia de un líquido acumulado en la porción inferior con base en la velocidad de flujo cerca de cada trayectoria cordal.
