Abstract

Se exponen materiales de revestimiento formados a partir de una mezcla de arena de base angular o subangular adecuado que se aplica con un polímero o mezcla de polímero/aceite y se combinan luego con fibras cortas para producir la composición de revestimiento final; se seleccionan los polímeros y mezclas de polímero/aceite de manera que se reduzcan las variaciones de viscosidad dependientes de la temperatura en los materiales de revestimiento, proveyendo así un "avance" más consistente para los caballos u otro ganado que se haga trabajar sobre estos materiales de revestimiento; se exponen también métodos de fabricar tales composiciones de revestimiento y métodos de usar tales composiciones de revestimiento en la construcción de otros lugares de tránsito incluyendo, por ejemplo, arenas y pistas.
