Abstract

Se describe un servicio que se proporciona a un equipo de usuario (UE) que opera dentro de un sistema de telecomunicaciones móvil que implica correr una instancia de aplicación del cliente (CAl) en el UE, en donde la Cal interactúa con una aplicación del servidor ubicado a distancia a través de una red por medio de un protocolo que incluye sondeo. Se envía un mensaje a la aplicación del servidor, el mensaje incluye una dirección PUSI-1 que únicamente identifica el UE y la CAl dentro del UE. La aplicación del servidor detiene la actividad de sondeo, y en su lugar inicia una solicitud PUSH cuando hay información actualizada para suministrarse a la CAl. El UE consecuentemente recibe una PUSH que incluye el identificador de la CAl, y consecuentemente notifica a la CAl del PUSH recibido. La CAl responde enviando un mensaje de sondeo a la aplicación del servidor a través de la red. La aplicación del servidor envía una respuesta al mensaje de sondeo, la respuesta incluye información asociada con el servicio.
