Abstract
Aquí se describen técnicas para ejecutar la reselección de célula en un sistema de comunicación inalámbrica; un equipo de usuario (UE) inicialmente puede acampar en una primera célula; aunque acampado en la primera célula, el UE puede identificar segunda y tercera células consideradas como mejores que la primera célula; el UE se puede mover de la primera célula a la segunda célula sin ejecutar reselección de célula para acampar en la segunda célula; después de moverse a la segunda célula, el UE puede, obtener al menos un parámetro de reselección de célula para la segunda y/o tercera célula y puede actualizar las clasificaciones de la segunda y tercera células con base en los parámetros de reselección de célula; el UE puede entonces ejecutar reselección de célula de la primera célula a la segunda o tercera célula con base en las clasificaciones actualizadas, por ejemplo, puede ejecutar reselección de célula inter-frecuencia de la primera célula a la tercera célula sin acampar realmente en la segunda célula.
