Abstract
Se describen sistemas y metodologías que facilitan el empleo de una estructura de transmisión híbrida en un entorno de comunicación inalámbrica. Cada bloque de transporte (por ejemplo, MAC PDU, por sus siglas en inglés) se puede dividir en múltiples bloques de código. Por otra parte, cada uno de los bloques de código se pueden dividir de forma adicional en dos o más segmentos de bloque de código. Además, los segmentos de bloque de código de un bloque de código dado se pueden transmitir por un canal durante ranuras de tiempo dispares de un sub-cuadro. Asimismo, dentro de un dado sub-cuadro, los segmentos de bloque de código correspondientes a diferentes bloques de código se pueden transmitir de forma secuencial en el tiempo. La utilización de lo anterior puede permitir el empleo de una estructura decodificadora segmentada en un receptor permitiendo al mismo tiempo la optimización de diversidad tiempo/frecuencia.
