Abstract

Se describe una formulación acuosa repelente de insectos que comprende una combinación de alo menos dos aceites esenciales, tintura de cascara de cítricos, y vinagre. Un método para preparar una formulación acuosa repelente de insectos que comprende: Mezclar una combinación de aceites esenciales con un emulsionante y tintura de cítricos; Agregar a la mezcla obtenida en (a) agua destilada a una temperatura de alrededor de 40 ° C y vinagre en donde la concentración en volumen/volumen final de agua es 90% y la concentración en volumen/volumen final de vinagres es alrededor de 5%; Mezclar la solución obtenida en (b) durante alrededor de 2 horas a temperatura ambiente usando un agitador mecánico; y permitir que la solución mezclada repose previo a la administración.
