Abstract
La presente invención se dirige a un proceso para la combustión limpia y conveniente de combustibles líquidos de alta viscosidad, tal como glicerol, así como un aparato útil para llevar a cabo tales procesos. En ciertas modalidades, la invención proporciona un proceso para la combustión de glicerol que comprende proporcionar un aparato de combustión (10) con una cámara para combustión de glicerol (185) que facilita el calentamiento reflectante, precalentar la cámara para combustión de glicerol, atomizar el glicerol de viscosidad reducida, y combinar el glicerol atomizado con aire en la cámara para combustión de glicerol para, en consecuencia, someter a combustión completamente el glicerol.
