Abstract
Un proceso para producir plomo y cinc a partir de concentrados de sulfuros u ?xidos de plomo y cinc, incluye los pasos de: (a) mezclar concentrados de mineral de plomo y/o mineral de cinc; materiales conteniendo carbono y portando hierro, finos de hierro met?lico y finos de ?xido de hierro, reducto carbon?ceo, agente de flujo y un ligante para formar una mezcla; (b) formar aglomerados de la mezcla; (c) introducir los aglomerados a un horno de fundici?n; (d) vaporizar plomo y cinc en el honro de fundici?n y remover estos metales del horno de fundici?n en forma vaporizada; (e) enfriar y condensar los vapores de metal a metal l?quido; (f) separar el cinc y plomo; y (g) recuperar cada metal por separado.
