Abstract

La presente invención es concerniente con polímeros polifenólicos formados a partir de derivados de ácido dihidroxibenzoico (DHB) o a partir de derivados de resorcinol, mónomeros que forman tales polímeros, combinaciones de los polímeros con fármacos y/o polímeros adicionales, también como dispositivos médicos formados a partir de, recubiertos con, impregnados por o cubiertas fabricadas con cualquiera de los polímeros anteriores (con o sin fármacos) o mezclas (con o sin fármacos).
