Abstract
Se describen un método y aparato de administración de recursos para servicios de multiemisión de multimedios (MBSM). Una unidad de transmisión/recepción inalámbrica (WTRU) envía un reporte de medición y un reporte de desempeño de recepción MBMS a una red. El cambio de re área de red de una sola frecuencia (SFN) puede efectuarse sobre la base de la información de reselección de celda, desempeño de recepción de MBMS de macrodiversidad de WTRU, fuerza de señal de celda vecina reportada por una WTRU, nivel de interferencia medido por la WTRU, un número de WTRU en una celda, prioridad de servicio, clase de WTRU, ubicación de la WTRU en una celda central, nivel de interferencia de recepción de MBMS de WTRU, etc. La decisión de activar/desactivar el servicio de MBMS y Y/o la conmutación punto a punto (PTP) a de un punto a puntos múltiples (PTM) puede basarse en una condición de canal de una WTRU. La condición del canal puede ser determinada sobre la base de si la WTRU está en sincronización o fuera de sincronización en la recepción MBMS, reconocimientos negativos (NAK) consecutivos dentro de cierta ventana de tiempo, pérdida de trayectoria medida de un canal de referencia, etc.
