Abstract

Se provee un dispositivo de acceso quirúrgico que incluye un alojamiento que tiene por lo menos un orificio de acceso para recibir un instrumento quirúrgico a través del mismo, y por lo menos un canal de instrumento flexible alargado que se extiende desde el alojamiento, y que tiene un lumen que se extiende a través del mismo y que está en comunicación de fluido con el orificio de acceso del alojamiento; el canal de instrumento está adaptado para moverse de una primera configuración aplastada, en la cual el canal está sellado para impedir sustancialmente el flujo de fluido a través del mismo, a una segunda configuración expandida tras la inserción de un instrumento a través del mismo.
