Abstract
Se describe un dispositivo de tratamiento de ojo que tiene una fuente de radiación, la luz emitida por la fuente de radiación tiene tal una escala de longitud de onda que da lugar a una reacción en una región de tratamiento de un ojo y se absorbe, al menos parcialmente, en al menos una de las regiones localizadas detrás de la misma en la dirección de la retina (9) que está frente a la retina; la luz emitida por la fuente de radiación puede tener una escala de longitud de onda en la que la región de tratamiento es parcialmente de transmisión; la región de tratamiento puede ser la cornea (1); la reacción que sucede en la región de tratamiento por la luz puede ser una ablación de tejido; la reacción que sucede en la región de tratamiento por la luz puede también ser una perforación óptica inducida por láser del tejido, la cual también se menciona como una foto-disrupción; la fuente de radiación puede ser una fuente láser; la escala de longitud de onda de la luz emitida por la fuente de radiación es de aproximadamente 1600 nm a aproximadamente 1700 nm, preferiblemente alrededor de 1625 nm a aproximadamente 1675 nm, más preferiblemente alrededor de 1640 nm a a aproximadamente 1660 nm.
