Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para producir un producto en base a materias fecales producidas por animales, caracterizado porque las materias fecales de mamíferos son complete o parcialmente disueltas utilizando un ácido oxidante, los componentes sólidos insolubles en ácido son separados, si es necesario, y el componente líquido es neutralizado con una base. Además, la invención se refiere a una planta para elaborar un producto, la planta que comprende (i) un reactor de materia fecal (3) para recibir materias fecales animales, en donde el reactor está provisto con medios para suministrar un ácido oxidante, (ii) posiblemente una unidad separadora para separar componentes sólidos insolubles en ácido, y (iii) un reactor de neutralización (5) para neutralizar la parte de las materias fecales disuelta por medio del ácido oxidante, en donde el reactor de neutralización (5) está provisto con medios para suministrar una base. La invención proporciona un producto sustancialmente inodoro para uso como fertilizante para un cultivo.
