Abstract
La invención proporciona un dispositivo de detección de nivel (32) que tiene un tubo (34), el cual en uso, contiene un material (14) para el que será medido su nivel en el tubo (34). Un transductor ultrasónico (lo) es proporcionado en un extremo del tubo (34) para la emisión de una forma de onda acústica que se refleja fuera de la superficie del nivel y regresa hacia el transductor ultrasónico (10) para permitir el cálculo del nivel de los períodos de tiempo de las formas de ondas acústicas emitidas y reflejadas.
