Abstract

Se propone un sistema para la examinación electromagnética, marina de depósitos de hidrocarburo. El sistema propuesto se caracteriza por una alta sensibilidad a objetivos que contienen hidrocarburos y una capacidad para trabajar en aguas poco profundas y profundas. El sistema incluye un transmisor que establece impulsos de corriente en el agua (2) a través de un cable transmisor, vertical u horizontal, sumergido (7a, 7b, 8) y un subsistema de registro (9) conectado a electrodos (11) en los cables receptores verticales u horizontales (10a, 10b). El transmisor genera una secuencia especial de impulsos con terminación precisa de la corriente eléctrica, el campo eléctrico es medido en el agua en pausas entre estos impulsos. La línea recta a través de los electrodos receptores está en el mismo plano vertical que las terminaciones del cable transmisor (7a, 7b). Las mediciones se llevan a cabo con una separación entre el cable transmisor (7a, 7b) y los cables receptores (10a, 10b) la cual es más pequeña que la profundidad del depósito de hidrocarburos fijado como objetivo, medida desde el fondo del mar (3).
