Abstract

Un método y aparato de identificación al extraer y hacer corresponder o coincidir detalle biométrico de una imagen infrarroja de vena subcutánea. La Región de Interés de la imagen se identifica y se eliminan artefactos. Un banco de filtros, tales corno Filtros Gahor Simétricos, Filtros Gahor Complejos, Filtros Log Gabor, Funciones Gaussianas Orientadas, u Onditas, filtra la imagen en un conjunto de imágenes de valor clave que se subdividen en regiones. Una clave de inscripción, definida por medidas estadísticas ordenadas de intensidades de píxeles dentro de las regiones, se compara utilizando una distancia métrica a una clave de verificación almacenada. Pueden emplearse diversas medidas estadísticas, tales como variancia, desviación estándar, promedio, desviación promedio absoluto, valor max, valor mm, valor max absoluto, valor mediano, o una combinación de estas medidas estadísticas, Pueden emplearse diversas distancias métricas tales como Euclídea, Hamming, Suclídea Cuadrada, Manhattan, Correlación Pearson, Correlación Pearson Cuadrada, Chebychev, o coeficientes d correlación Spearman.
